Edison Nation is the perfect website community for idea people. I have
been a member of this community since August 2009 and it is great community to be a part of. If you have the next
great product idea, but don't have the time, the money, or the "know-how" to bring it to market, then perhaps
Edison Nation is where you need to go. Give it a try, it may be your inroads to get your product on store shelves.

Please note that, other than
being an inventor and Edison Nation Insider member, who myself submits ideas to Edison Nation,
DLJ Innovations LLC is in no way, shape, or form affiliated with Edison Nation. DLJ Innovations LLC does not benefit in any way from you submitting any idea to Edison Nation, or
from having your idea selected for commercialization by Edison Nation or one of its sponsors. I do however get
referral points for people signing up for free membership through my link as listed above. I wholeheartedly
recommend Edison Nation as a potential path
to market for your product idea, but I offer no guarantees
or assume any responsibility for your success, or lack thereof, in your dealings with Edison Nation.
One word of caution! Although
it can be exhilarating to watch your idea submission advance through Edison Nation's 8 stage process, beware of "Dashboard
Addiction". Most of us, who have submitted ideas to Edison Nation have, at
one time or another, and to varying degrees, fallen victim to this ailment. "Dashboard Addiction" is
the uncontrollable urge to check your dashboard for progress, first thing when you awake up, last thing before your go to
bed, and a multitude of times in between. Have fun, but be careful. See any seasoned Edison Nation member for
advice on how to best control this ailment. Just remember, green is good, red is bad!
Many people have been burned by invention
scam companies in the past and are leery (and rightfully so) of companies claiming to be able to turn your ideas into saleable
products. A good litmus test for any such company in question is to ask them for examples of past successes of
inventors and their inventions. If they can't supply this information, then run the opposite way as fast as you can.
If they supply this information, and the list doesn’t check out, then run the opposite way even faster.
With Edison Nation, you don't have to ask for this information. You can go right to their website and view a
list of their successful inventors and products. You can go to actual stores and see these products on the shelves.
You can look up the patents on GOOGLE PATENTS or the USPTO's website and find the actual patents with the inventors listed.
Edison Nation, to the best of my knowledge, is the REAL DEAL.
They only take the best of the best ideas, so don't be discouraged if your idea is not selected for commercialization on the
first try (or second, or third for that matter). The competition is stiff, but if you have a great idea, chances are
that it will get noticed, eventually. Keep in mind that although Edison Nation, in my opinion, is a great
way to market, they are not the only way to market. If your idea is a good one, and you don’t find
success with Edison Nation, try other avenues. Just be careful whom you trust!
